We spend so much time at home that improving air quality is important.

The first gesture of course is to ventilate, opening the windows in the morning. And also use some diffusers and take the opportunity to inhale essential oils, that is, natural essences of plants that provide beneficial molecules.

Thanks to these plant essences, we can purify the air, or relax or raise our defenses, with the advantage that the house will be scented only with plants.

It's easy to choose a diffuser!

If you need to humidify the air (which is very likely if you continue with the heating or live in an area with dry air like Madrid), choose a cold ultrasonic humidifier: this system breaks the water into microdroplets and emits a fine mist without saturate the air we like the PURESSENTIEL OXYGEN HUMIDIFIER , because it lasts a whole day, is silent and is easy to clean.

We also like the OVOID HUMIDIFIER from PURESSENTIEL , because it is small, enough for the room and it is robust.

His thing is to add to the water about 10 drops of essential oil of RAVINTSARA , antiviral and immunostimulant, suitable even for the smallest in diffusion, ROMERO CINEOLE , anti-infective, or LAUREL , perfect if you have a cough.

You can use these essential oils diluted and applied to the skin as well:

1/ Respiratory protection => mix 45 drops of Ravintsara + 45 drops of Tea Tree + 10 drops of Scots Pine in 30 ml of vegetable oil (from macadamia or of jojoba ). shake and massage the mixture on the neck, the nape, the thorax, the back, the sole of the foot and in front of the nose: >7 years, 5 drops 3x/day or >15 years, 10 drops 3x/day.

2/ Taking care of yourself during a cold => 2 drops of Laurel noble + 2 drops of Tea tree + 1 drop of Peppermint diluted in 10 drops of vegetable oil (from nigella or of jojoba ). Massage at the level of the lungs and the sole of the foot: >7 years, 3x/day for 8 days or >15 years, 5x/day for 8 days. Or => add 1 drop of Noble laurel + 1 drop of Tea tree mist.

An essential oil is an active product. Precautions for use and contraindications: check with your doctor or pharmacist, not recommended for pregnant women, infants, children <7 years, asthmatics, epileptics and those allergic to essential oils.

Tips taken from the newsletter of Dr. Franck Gigon, expert at the Puressentiel laboratory. Instead of Ravintsara or Noble Laurel, you can use any essential oil with eucalyptol (1.8 cineole) from the list: Eucalyptus globulus, Eucalyptus radiata, Laurel noble, Ravintsara, Rosemary cineole .
