#SENTISELECCIÓN: AMBIENTE ZEN EN CASA, PARTE 2

#SENTISELECTION: ZEN AT HOME, PART 2

To achieve a ZEN atmosphere at home without complications, the most useful thing is a GENTLE HEAT DIFFUSER , without water, that is, a diffuser that IS NOT A BURNER and into which pure, undiluted essential oils are poured. Heat below 40º is sufficient because it releases the aromatic molecules in a few minutes. This way they will quickly reach the nose and act both on the olfactory receptors and on its millions of nerve receptors for a beneficial action.

In addition, the GENTLE HEAT diffusers, as they work with electricity and not with a flame, do not burn essential oils, under penalty of destroying their active ingredients.

We like for example SOFT HEAT DIFFUSER ceramic by PURESSENTIEL: its simple design and easy-to-clean material are perfect for intensive use at home. This one lasts 1 hour and turns itself off, just the time you need to relax. Performing an inhalation of essential oils of more than 30 minutes is not necessary, most of the time.

Do you want to try a very effective essential oil right now?

He LEMONGRASS is a plant that you have surely seen in Asian cuisine. It has a very citric aroma and flavor. Be careful, in the literature, sometimes, there is confusion with other herbs, such as citronella. The botanical name of the Lemongrass that we want is Cympopogon citratus . We recommend choosing it organic.

Its essential oil is an excellent Sedative +++ (for the citrals: neral, geranial). It is Antiseptic (because of geraniol). It has a Vasodilator effect: interesting for arteritis, cellulite. .

In the kitchen or smoky environments, it is a powerful fresh deodorizer, and its Diffusion is allowed even in babies and pregnant women. Asthmatics should seek the advice of their health professional before use.

How to use?

A diffusion of 30 minutes is recommended: it is always used diluted to 20% in other essential oils. We suggest diluting 5 DROPS OF LEMONGRASS with 10 DROPS OF GRAPEFRUIT (because it is a good antiseptic) and with 10 DROPS OF BITTER ORANGE BIGARADE (because it calms instantly).

In adults, it is used through the skin diluted to 20% in a vegetable oil of St. John's Wort, for example (except exposure to the sun, the AV being photosensitizing).

More info?

Because you also ask us for this information a lot, below we indicate a list of essential oils that are not recommended for diffusion, in any way:

Dill (and Ajowan, which is from the same family as Apiaceae or also known as Umbelliferae), Cade, Turmeric, Fennel, Wintergreen (due to the concentration of methyl salicylate), Helichrysum (Always alive), Lavandula Stoechas (lavender: a type of lavender, as if it had petals on the upper part), Ledon from Greenland, Rosemary verbenone, Salvia lavandulifolia (a type of sage highly loaded with camphor), Tansy (known for its blue color but reserved for skin use).

A pure essential oil is an active product. Precautions for use and contraindications: check with your doctor or pharmacist, especially pregnant women, lactating women, children <7 years of age, epileptics.
